The man in the foreground is Tom Tolley, the shop owner, thanks to our informant below. In the 1983 phone book, the Katoomba shop is jointly listed with Springwood Sports & Toy Centre at 135 Macquarie Rd. From 1986 the joint businesses are listed as Katoomba Toyworld and Springwood Toyworld.
