Kondapalli is a small industrial village near Vijayawada, Andra Pradesh, India where toys are made. Kondapalli Toys are famous for its light weight and vegetable and fruit colors. The Toys are made out of Thella Poniki meaning White wood, absolutely feather weight. Kondapalli toys is made by a group of 30 families as a cottage industry. Had a chance to walk on the two streets of Kondapalli to have a look at the toys and the making of it.
